The vision of Seniors Against Fraud and Exploitation (SAFE) is to eliminate the financial exploitation of older adults through its work as both watchdog and advocate. As a watchdog, SAFE uses open source intelligence and metric-based analysis to report on trends in elder fraud, presenting its findings through highly engaging infographics and visual media. As an advocate, SAFE calls on government agencies to dedicate more resources to the investigation and prosecution of elder fraud. In doing so, SAFE recognizes the diversity of older adults, taking into account race, ethnicity, language, sex, and economic status.
